Gratitude

1 Thessalonians 5 says to be grateful in ALL circumstances. This simple discipline has incredible power in the life of a believer. In the Old and New testaments gratitude is a litmus test as to whether a believer is really walking close with God. When we have grateful hearts we guard ourself against what C.S. Lewis called “the utmost evil” and “the essential vice”—pride. How would your life be different if you were grateful in every circumstance?
