WHO WE ARE

Chi Alpha at Texas Tech University is part of a global movement, purposed to reconcile students to Christ through small group communities centered on worship, prayer, fellowship, mission, and discipleship.  We are a family and an army, taking on the commission of Christ to make disciples of all nations, transforming the university, the marketplace, and the world.

The joy of our ministry is seeing students transformed by the love of Jesus, and seeing what He’s done in them, be done through them as they reach out to their campus around them. We are able to reach this campus because of the faithful students God has called to be small group leaders.  

As a student coming into Chi Alpha, you’ll be a valued part of a small group family where all are welcomed despite belief or background.  Beyond that, you’ll get a taste of the larger family of Christ in weekly worship services on campus, fall and winter retreats, and the opportunity to join yearly mission trips.  We believe that a relationship with Jesus is the most exciting and liberating life that can be lived, and know that He will bring real purpose and direction to each student in this crazy, beautiful time of life.
